Reproductive toxicology research
Reproductive toxicology refers to the application of toxicological methods to study the mechanism of foreign substances (drugs, pesticides, interventional medical devices, etc.) inhibiting or interfering with egg or sperm production and the impact of harmful effects on offspring, and to provide basis and measures to prevent the harm of chemical substances to human reproductive function.
Reproductive toxicity study is to evaluate the potential toxicity of the tested substance to reproductive cells, pregnancy, pregnancy, delivery, lactation and other parental reproductive capacity, as well as the development of offspring embryo-embryo and post-natal development through animal experiments. It is an important safety evaluation data.
